Musa is an innovative and hands-on operations manager with over 15 years’ experience managing international volunteer programs across Eastern and Southern Africa. He has developed long-lasting partnerships with government agencies, institutions, NGOs and CBOs across the region, and has facilitated effective contributions by volunteers to support development initiatives in line with government plans.
Musa has successfully established AVI’s country office in Tanzania and has engineered growth of AVI’s programs in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi and Zambia. He has worked closely with key stakeholders, including the Australian government’s Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, local government ministries and NGOs to achieve this.
Trained in computer programming, Musa enjoys working with people more than machines and has a special interest in inclusion.
