Aline Nyinawamahoro has worked at the US Peace Corps in Rwanda as their Health Program Manager since June 2014. Peace Corps volunteers in the health sector work with communities and contribute to improving maternal and child health.
Prior to Peace Corps, Aline worked with Family Health International as a public health research fellow, and then as a technical officer in HIV/AIDS prevention for the most-at-risk populations. Aline was also a Rwanda Red Cross Volunteer and served as a Youth Delegate from Rwanda to Norway, in the Norwegian Red Cross Youth between 2008 and 2009. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Health, obtained from the University of Dundee (Scotland, UK) and a Bachelors Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rwanda (Huye, Rwanda). Aline is enthusiastic about public health and community-based work.
