Alicia Herbert is a development professional with more than 20 years’ experience. She has worked with a range of organisations including multilaterals, academia and, since 1999, the Department for International Development (DFID). She has extensive experience in the field – in Sub-Saharan Africa as well as Asia – including in fragile countries. Alicia was Head of DFID Mozambique July 2012 to November 2013. She is currently Head of the Children, Youth and Education Department at DFID.
