VSO is proud to be hosting IVCO 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda, in collaboration with the International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum) and with support from the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), the Rwanda Convention Bureau and the National Itorero Commission (Rwanda).
VSO uses a unique volunteering for development model to fight poverty and change lives in some of the world’s poorest communities. Our health, education and livelihoods programmes ensure poor and marginalised people play a central role in their own development. For 60 years, VSO has worked with more than 76,000 volunteers in over 120 countries.
The International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum) is a global network of organisations involved in volunteering for development. Forum exists to promote the value of volunteering for development, develop good practice and enhance co-operation across the international volunteering and development sectors.
